Here at the Futon Shop we love these beautiful low level Dock Beds and their authentic traditional Japanese style, combining simple wood lines with optional tatami matting.

The timber frame is manufactured in FSC Certified (managed forest) Scandinavian solid redwood pine from Europe which is then finished with a natural pine look. The frame can be completed by the addition of a pair of Tatami Mats traditionally manufactured with compressed rice straw and covered in woven Igusa rush grass with cotton edging giving a lovely clean contemporary style.

The Dock Futon Bed can be purchased in a choice of two sizes; the king size with a 160 x 200 cm sleeping area or the super king with a 180 x 200 cm sleeping area. It is offered as a frame only with optional Tatami Mats and can then be combined with one of our futon mattresses in a choice of fillings to suit your requirements. You can choose from our two sizes and three filling types from our futon mattresses. Please take into consideration if you wish for exposed tatami mat edges, as in the main image, when making your size choice. If you would like advice o this please call or mail us.

Simple home assembly is required, please allow around 1 hour

Delivery Time - The Dock Bed is available from stock in both sizes, typical delivery is 7 to 10 days for a frame only or 14 to 21 days for a frame and mattress combination, all on a pre arranged weekday.
