Our Futon Mattresses.

Our futon mattresses are hand made here in Devon. Each one is individually manufactured by hand to your specifications, using combinations of lambswool, wool-felt and rebound polyester. Additional fillings are available depending on your requirements, including Coir and Pocket Springs. The futon mattresses are then covered in a choice of tough cotton drill fabrics, durable polyester Tibetan fabrics and our ranges of 100% cotton Panama and Carrera fabrics that combine with wool-guard barrier fabric to provide options that are free of fire retardant treatments.

You can select different filling types to suit your requirements on each product page. Making your mattress choice can be complex, so please feel free to call us for advice.

Additionally, some of our futon mattresses are made right here by us in Plymouth. These include our Monk, Napper and Nomad bedrolls. By making them by hand, we can ensure that each mattress is made with care and quality.

Watch the video below to see how we build one of our futon mattresses:

Our Futon Bases.

Our traditional pine futon bases are manufactured in Estonia, Poland and here in Devon depending on the model - Watch the video above to see how we construct our Scandi futon frame.

All our pine bed bases are fully manufactured using Scandinavian redwood pine for strength and durability and always from managed sources, most with FSC certification.

We also offer metal framed futons and sofa beds from Innovation Living, a Denmark based business that has specialised in futons and sofa beds for many decades, producing lovely quality products from their factories in Denmark, Ukraine and China.
