We are big fans of this stylish and practical new model from Danish manufacturers Karup Design. A simple and strong FSC certified pine bed base in a choice of sizes. Available with the standard set up with two movable backrests and side tables to give you options for sleeping or daytime use, this makes the Social bed more than just a bed — it’s a conversation piece that can be transformed into a stylish sofa during the day, inviting social interaction and relaxation.

The Social is also available as a basic bedframe only, shown as Social Bed by Karup Design - basic frame on our website

The Social Futon Bed can be purchased as a bed frame only, in 140 x 200 cm EU Double or 160 x 200 cm EU Super King sizes, you can then add one of our optional futon mattresses in a choice of fillings to suit your requirements. Follow this link for more information on our Futon Mattresses, then make your selection from the menu above.

IMPORTANT Note: The mattress size needed for the Social bed is 200 cm long, if you are buying a futon mattress from us it will be sized to fit, if using a different mattress type please ensure you get a 200 cm length.

Simple home assembly is required, please allow 1 to 1.5 hours.

Availability - Both sizes available from stock for quick delivery, 7 to 10 days frame only or 14 to 21 days for a frame and futon mattress combination, all on a pre-arranged week day.
