Introducing the new Kanso Bed by Karup Design in a compact double 120 x 200 cm size. This simple low-level bed offers an elegant alternative to a storage bed, with optional add-on drawers. It is available with or without one of our Devon made lovely futon mattresses.
The timber frame is manufactured in FSC Certified (managed forest) Scandinavian redwood pine and features a slatted style base for even, firm support. It is then left with a smooth, untreated finish. This stylish bed also comes with 2 optional add-on drawers, giving you under-bed storage. These are made of the same sturdy material as the rest of the bed and slide neatly under the frame when closed.
The Kanso Futon Bed can be purchased as a frame only or combined with one of our futon mattresses. Each mattress has a choice of colours and fillings, which you can learn more about on our Futon Mattresses page.
IMPORTANT Note: The mattress size needed for the Kanso bed is European size at 200 cm long. If you're buying a futon mattress from us, it will be sized to fit. If using a different mattress type please ensure you get a 200 cm length.
Simple home assembly is required, please allow around 1 hour.
Availability - The Kanso Bed is available as a special order from Denmark with a 4 week delivery time on a pre-arranged weekday.
