The Ziggy Futon Bed has a simple contemporary style with softly curved end edges and clean, Scandinavian, lines. It is manufactured in solid FSC certified pine timber (FSC certified - from managed sustainable forests) available in a natural finish as shown in the images.
The frame features a strong pine slatted sleeping platform to provide good ventilation for a futon or conventional type mattress or you can choose to add the optional traditional, compressed rice straw, tatami mats for an authentic oriental look and feel. We love the little extras on the Ziggy such as the side shelves, the bedside magazine storage - just were you need it and, of course, the width of the sides gives space for your phone, tablet or even a cup of tea, just like an integral bed side table!
The Ziggy can be purchased as a frame only, in a 140 x 200 cm European double bed size or the truly massive 160 x 200 cm super king size, or combined with one of our futon mattresses in a choice of fillings to suit your requirements. IMPORTANT Note: The mattress size needed for the Ziggy Bed is European size at 200 cm long, if you are buying a futon mattress from us it will be sized to fit, if using a different mattress type please ensure you get a 200 cm length. Simple home assembly is required, please allow around 1.5 to 2 hours.
The Ziggy bed is available from stock for quick delivery in both sizes. Delivery 7 to 10 days for frame only or 14 to 21 days for a frame and mattress combination, all on a pre arranged week day.
